Oviedo CoVID-19 Utility Update
At the onset of the Covid-19 Crisis, the City of Oviedo Utilities ceased water disconnects for non-payment and the accrual of late fees. Residents were notified that billing would continue for usage, accounts would accumulate charges, and customers should pay what they could to minimize outstanding balances.
Late fees and Disconnections will begin on August 1, 2020
As our City, State, and Nation begin the process of returning to normal, please use the next 50+ days to bring your utility account current. Beginning August 1, 2020, the City of Oviedo will resume normal business procedures for past due accounts. Late fees will begin to be charged, disconnections and disconnection processing fees will restart.
We understand this has been a difficult time for many and to be accommodating as possible, the City of Oviedo will offer repayment plans in hopes to alleviate the financial impacts to our residents. If you would like to arrange a payment plan, please contact the Utility Department at 407-971-5535 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
