Purpose & Class Details

The purpose of the American Red Cross Babysitter’s Course is to provide youth, ages 11 to 15, who are planning to babysit, with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care to children and infants. This class is a one day course including accident prevention, basic care, basic CPR and first aid, and is limited to 10 participants, with a minimum of 4 needed to hold the class. Upon completion, participants will receive an American Red Cross Babysitter's Certificate.
