The Panther Street ditch is an open drainage ditch that receives drainage from Lake Charm, Garden Grove, and Lake Charm Country Estates subdivisions, as well as nearby single family homes.
The proposed improvements along Panther Street include the installation of a closed-pipe drainage system to replace the open drainage ditch. This project will help reduce maintenance issues and enhance the stormwater management system.
Project Timeline
Phasing the project was determined to be beneficial to minimize impacts to residents, city staff resources, and contractor availability.
- Construction of Phase 1, located between Carissa Lane and Country Charm Circle, is completed.
- Construction of Phase 2, located from the west side of Country Charm Circle to the 15 foot utility easement along Panther Street, is completed.
- Construction of Phase 3, located from the east side of the 15 foot utility easement along Panther Street to Lake Charm Drive, is anticipated to begin in 2022.
