The Oviedo Police Support Services Division is comprised of Investigations, the Community Response Team, Community Involvement, and Records.
The Criminal Investigations Section includes the Oviedo Police Detectives, who follow up on crimes and arrest those responsible, and the Property and Evidence Unit. To contact a member of investigations by phone, call 407-971-5700 and select option 2; or email us.

Community Response Team (CRT)
The Community Response Team (CRT) uses a variety of plainclothes and uniformed techniques to address ongoing community problems, to stop crimes in progress and to monitor convicted felons and sexual offenders/predators.

Oviedo Police Explorers
The Oviedo Police Explorer Post 851 is chartered by the Boys Scouts of America through their Learning for Life program and hosted by the Oviedo Police Department.

Records
The Oviedo Police Department Records office handles all the reports generated by the officers and acts as a warehouse and distribution center for processing police records.

School Resource Officers
The purpose of the Oviedo Police Department School Resource Officer Program (SRO) is to provide assistance for the students, teachers and staff in any areas that relate to law enforcement, by a visible, active police presence on campus.
