Community Oriented Policing Services (C.O.P.S) & Volunteer Center at Oviedo Marketplace

The 4,200-square-foot C.O.P.S. and Volunteer Center brings many police services, displays, educational brochures, youth programs, demonstrations, community relations programs, and information about the City directly to the public in the convenience of Oviedo Marketplace mall.

  • The display and demonstration area is more than 1,200 square feet.
  • The Center includes a 35-seat classroom for public safety and crime prevention seminars, as well as community meetings.
  • Community Relations, School Resource and Youth Services Officers and Police Volunteers serve the people of greater Oviedo, Seminole County and eastern Orange County from the C.O.P.S. and Volunteer Center

Volunteers are needed to staff the C.O.P.S. and Volunteer Center and to assist with a variety of programs including, but not limited to:

  • Community On Patrol
  • Seniors vs. Crime
  • Volunteers in Policing (VIP)
