In 2022 City Council tasked the Recreation & Parks Department with the goal of designing and implementing a robust year-round Senior Programming Activity schedule, specifically to give the Seniors in the community a place to call their own.  Hurricane Ian complicated the process, but we are back and ready to serve!

At Riverside, we will have a senior calendar of programs to cater to a wide range of interests and abilities at the beginning of the day. In the afternoons, our programming will open up to include options for all ages.

The Senior Activities Program is not limited to just the Riverside Park Community Center, there are amenities throughout the city for people to enjoy. These include options for our aquatics facilities, fitness room, tennis, and pickleball courts. 

We want your input! As we develop these programs, please reach out with any suggestions that come to mind that would let us serve the community better.
