The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Services Division is committed to providing the City of Oviedo with many services including map production, data collection, data development, data modeling, analysis, custom spatial application configuration design, training and technical support. GIS plays an invaluable role within the City of Oviedo by providing current information and data analysis in support of many critical city functions including public safety, emergency response, city development, zoning, land use, engineering, and transportation.

 

The mission of the GIS Services Division is to provide the highest quality geospatial services and information possible to the City of Oviedo in a timely fashion and as economically as possible. The GIS Services Division facilitates the efficient and effective management of the human, cultural, financial, and natural resources of the City and its neighboring communities.
